Link policy
Last updated October 13, 2026
Links are how the web decides what to trust, so we are careful with them and open about how they work.
Editorial listings
A product listed after human review links to its own website and stores as normal links. We don't charge for these and we don't take a fee to make a link "count".
Sponsored placements
Anything paid, such as Featured placement or a sponsor slot, is labelled on the page and its links carry rel="sponsored". Search engines are told clearly that money was involved.
Content written by makers and visitors
Descriptions, bios and any other text written by users can contain links. Those are marked rel="ugc nofollow" and open in a new tab. Images from other sites are not loaded into user text.
What we will never do
- Sell "dofollow" backlinks or guarantee a ranking benefit.
- Pass off a paid link as editorial.
- Hide links to products from people who didn't pay.
Outbound tracking
Buttons that take you to an app store or a maker's website go through a short redirect on our own domain, so makers can see how many people clicked. It records a count, not who you are.
